Vault names Eagle Hill as a top consulting firm to work for in new 2018 rankings

Company Earns High Ranks in Office Hours and Work/Life Balance Categories

Arlington, Va., September 18, 2017 – Eagle Hill Consulting again this year earns top rankings when it comes to office hours and work/life balance among consulting firms. The family-owned company is ranked second for hours in the office and ranked third for work/life balance according to Vault’s 2018 Consulting 50 ranking.

Eagle Hill also has been recognized as one of the best consulting firms to work for, earning the number 25 spot among all firms and the number seven rank among boutique firms. Other areas of recognition include Eagle Hill’s culture, satisfaction, diversity, relationship with supervisors, travel requirements, vacation policies and interactions with clients.

The Vault Consulting 50 rankings are important because it is an independent validation that Eagle Hill values its employees. Read about Eagle Hill’s overall 2018 rankings here.

“It’s no accident that Eagle Hill consistently is a leader when it comes to work/life balance and office hours. It is a strategic priority to attract and retain top talent to meet our clients’ needs, and that means creating a work environment that employees need and want,” said Melissa Jezior, Eagle Hill’s founder, president and chief executive officer.

“Top employees are smart and work hard, but they also want a life outside of the office. From day one, we built Eagle Hill with a corporate culture that values and delivers real work/life balance – not just lip service. We counsel our clients that real, meaningful work/life balance strengthens an organization, so it’s all the more important that we model that advice. This award is evidence that our culture strategy is working.”

Eagle Hill’s employee retention rate is 93 percent, and the company’s employee survey shows a satisfaction rate of 96 percent. Also, 100 percent of Eagle Hill clients say they would refer the company to others for business, a strong indicator that Eagle Hill employees are happy and empowered to deliver results.

The rankings are based on the results of Vault’s 2017 Consulting Survey. Conducted in the spring of 2017, some 9,000 consulting professionals of all levels in North America assessed their own firm’s quality of life in such categories as firm culture and compensation. Consultants also rated peer consulting firms on prestige and practice area, and respondents were unable to rate their own employers and rated only firms with which they were familiar. A weighted formula was used to combine findings from both prestige and quality of life rankings to create one “Best to Work For” category.

Eagle Hill’s founders broke from the pack of large, traditional consulting companies to establish a firm that is truly collaborative, unified in nature and possesses an entrepreneurial spirit. The company considers itself to be a community of consultants, rather than a traditional consultancy. As a result, Eagle Hill is uniquely positioned to help solve client business problems across various industries.
