A life change that seemed risky at the time, but turned out positive
After college I decided to move to Washington, DC even though it meant giving up a job opportunity in Memphis where I had interned for a year. I packed up a weekend bag intended to come check-out DC for a couple days and here I am in six years later. Everything just fell into place to make DC feel like home from the very first weekend. The calendar in my old bedroom at my parent’s house still is set to August 2011, where it says, “DC for the Weekend” as it will always remind me of the risk that ended up landing me in my home.
At the top of my bucket list
To visit all the National Parks. So far some of my favorites are Zion National Park where I hiked Angles Landing and the Grand Tetons National Park where I was reminded just how small I am in this big world!
My personal BHAG (big hairy audacious goal)
Stay engaged and challenged in everything I do – all while having fun and developing meaningful relationships with friends, family, and colleagues.
My favorite part of working at Eagle Hill
The people. Daily I have the opportunity to work side-by-side with some of the most dynamic, engaging, and creative people I’ve ever met. My colleagues continue to challenge and support me to ensure I am creating tailored solutions with big impacts for my clients.
Where I find inspiration
The three F’s- family, friends, and fitness.
One word my colleagues would use to describe me
Energetic – which might just be a nice way to say loud!
