Diabetes is a deadly disease with no cure and I am looking forward to seeing what the research companies can bring about with support from companies like Eagle Hill,” concluded Mr. Gentles.

About the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation
The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation was founded in 1970 by parents of children with diabetes who were convinced that through research, diabetes could be cured. Today approximately 16 million Americans have diabetes. Because insulin is not a cure, research is our only hope. Every year 650,000 people suffer from the complications of this disease including blindness, kidney disease, and amputation. This year, JDRF will award almost $100 million to diabetes research, bringing its cumulative dollar commitment to more than $600 million since it was formed. JDRF gives more money directly to diabetes research than any other private health agency in the world, in fact more than 98 cents of every dollar contributed goes directly to research.
