After a mandatory regulatory audit, a top-5 national banking institution learned that its workforce was not adhering to required regulations in their day-to-day work. In order to resolve this issue, this organization needed to make changes; specifically, it needed to shift its corporate culture to focus more on compliance, improve the effectiveness of their regulatory compliance training and restructure their corporate-level compliance department.
The scope of this effort included a diverse workforce of over 60,000 employees, managers and executives located in 2,000 locations across the US.
Solution
The project included a redesign of the compliance department and training
function. This resulted in a revamp of every training module in the organization
and created a seamless compliance process among regulatory experts, managers
and employees. The solution incorporated the following key activities:
