Eagle Hill Consulting a Best Place to Work says the Washington Business Journal

Arlington, Va., July 27, 2017- Eagle Hill Consulting has earned another top workplace award, this time selected by The Washington Business Journal as a Best Place to Work in the large-sized company category. The award further solidifies the company’s position as a leading employee-friendly company in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Eagle Hill has earned multiple best workplace awards from The Washington Post and Washingtonian, as well as multiple top rankings in the Vault 50 Consulting Ranking.

The Washington Business Journal’s 11th annual Best Places to Work program honors 85 companies that scored highest among hundreds of employers that participated in Quantum Workplace’s annual employee engagement survey. The results are quantitative, and are based on survey responses from employees rather than a panel of outside judges. Employees were asked to rate different aspects of their work, including communication and resources, work-life balance, personal engagement, managerial effectiveness, team dynamics, trust in leadership among other areas.

“This win says that as Eagle Hill grows, we are staying true to our employee centric culture – and that’s non-negotiable for me,” says Melissa Jezior, president and chief executive officer of Eagle Hill. “Of course, managing rapid growth, client needs, and the employee experience can be a balancing act.  But through continuous collaboration and communication with our employee team, we’re doing it – and doing it well,” Jezior says.

The company has experienced 49 percent average revenue growth since 2006, and the Virginia Chamber of Commerce recently named Eagle Hill this year as one of the fastest growing companies in the state. Throughout this growth period, employee satisfaction remains high. Eagle Hill’s employee retention rate is 93 percent, and its employee survey shows a satisfaction rate of 96 percent.

Jezior said that Eagle Hill is honored to be recognized by The Washington Business Journal. “We will live up to the accolades by continuing to provide real and meaningful work-life balance, as well as growth and leadership opportunities for our team. Ultimately, our clients benefit because they know they count on the Eagle Hill team to consistently deliver management consulting results that exceed their expectations.”

Eagle Hill’s founders broke from the pack of large, traditional consulting companies to establish a firm that is truly collaborative, unified in nature and possesses an entrepreneurial spirit. The company considers itself to be a community of consultants, rather than a traditional consultancy. As a result, Eagle Hill is uniquely positioned to help solve client business problems across various industries.
