Eagle Hill named finalist for Chamber of Commerce 2018 Corporate Citizenship Award

Arlington, Va., SEPTEMBER 25, 2018Eagle Hill Consulting has been named a finalist for one of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s 2018 Corporate Citizenship Awards. Eagle Hill is one of three finalists in the Best Corporate Steward category for small and middle market corporations. In its nineteenth year, the award honors businesses around the world for positive social and community initiatives.

“We’re proud to be named a finalist by the Chamber Foundation because Eagle Hill’s community service programs are 100 percent employee driven. We are giving back because it’s the right thing to do, not because it builds our brand or business. I value this genuine commitment to corporate citizenship,” says Kayla McAfee, Eagle Hill associate and corporate citizenship team lead.

Eagle Hill established a Corporate Citizenship Team in 2012 to build a corporate culture of social responsibility by creating real, lasting impacts in the community. Backed by committed company leadership, Eagle Hill achieves this vision through philanthropy and service activities aligned to its core values – Impact, Collaboration, Family, and Fun – to help individuals and organizations in need.

Eagle Hill’s corporate citizenship engagement currently is focused on three priority areas: environmental stewardship, education, and workforce development across eight primary nonprofit partners. For the past year, 75 percent of employees performed hands-on and skills-based volunteering, resulting in over 1,500 hours of employee volunteerism.
