Something most people might not know

I played piano and flute for 10 years! I wanted to go to Julliard as a music major but then was introduced to the world of Industrial and Organizational Psychology.

What “Breaking away from the expected” means to me

Taking a risk in pursuit of something unique, whether it is an idea or an experience.

The natural talent I’d like to be gifted with

Gardening. My mom and grandmother have green thumbs, but it seemed to have skipped over me!

The most valuable piece of advice I’ve ever received

My mom told me that no one can take away your knowledge or smile, but both are things you can share with others.

One word my colleagues use to describe me

Thoughtful.

My favorite getaway spot

A small town called La Fortuna in Costa Rica. When I visited, we went to see the active Arenal Volcano, climbed down roughly 300 steps to a beautiful waterfall, and visited the hot springs.
