My favorite getaway spot
The woods and lakes of New Hampshire. Quiet mornings, cold water, and no cell reception.
The most valuable piece of advice I’ve ever received
“Happiness is a choice.” I’ve come to understand that it doesn’t mean people don’t have real reasons to feel pain or frustration. Life can be hard, unfair, and out of our control. But we still get to choose how we respond, how we carry ourselves, how we see the world, and how we show up for others. So, I try to choose happiness.
Favorite part of working at Eagle Hill
We all work together—truly. There’s no incentive to be better than the next person. The incentive is to be the best version of yourself and bring that to help clients succeed.
My personal BHAG (big hairy audacious goal)
To be the world’s greatest dad. There’s zero chance I ever get that title, but my girls deserve the attempt.
What energizes me the most
Watching people succeed, especially (and selfishly) when I’ve had a hand in setting the conditions for that success. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing someone rise to the moment, crush it, and know you helped create the space for them to thrive.
If I were a superhero, I’d be
Superman. Obviously, the powers (all the powers) but also, he represents the idea of being incorruptible. He always chooses the harder right over the easy wrong. I’d want to live up to that kind of example.
